So after the Waukesh crit on Saturday, I packed up the car agin and started my drive to Evanston for the final race of the weekend. I stayed with my brother Mike saturday night. We were able to have dinner and check out the course as well.
Sunday morning came and had the usual banana, eggs and pancakes. Drove to the race and parked in a parking ramp where I just som happened to bump into Snider, Aric and Flood.
The crit was only 32 laps on a .9 mile closed circuit. Aric was sitting 3rd in the overall Superweek series and so I just wanted to keep an eye on any flyers or whetever else may happen. Jason Snider was sitting 8th overall and was looking good in all the races. Nobody got away and the pack stayed together for the whole thing. I went hard with a few to go and tried to bridge a two man break. Im not sure if it helped.
It came down to a sprint finish. Aric was 4th. He finished 3rd overall and Snider was 8th overall. It was their 9th straight race in a row.

On the way home, i got a flat. WHAP WHAP WHAP. My rear tire blew up and I pulled over to fix it. On 94W of all places. Fast, loud and not much of a shoulder. So i drove home with a spare in rain and at night. Bizarre!
Up next: HWood Crit on TUE, Buck on TH and Red wing on Sunday...
