Salaam! Had another good day of riding. Not long, but windy, rolly and some tough sections. I started later than I wanted to, so that had an unfortunate bearing on how long my ride was going to be. But I left Tonto Verde, where Im staying, and headed straight west into the wind and up a gradual 13 mile incline right off the bat. Took an hour. Then headed North to a town called Carefree(had a malt). This is where the junction to Bartlett Lake resoirvoir is, and my turnaround point. But wasnt to be. With the sun setting and a massive climb back out, I turned around and headed home. Tomorow will be an earlier start and then off to Bartlett Lake. Will get in about 85 I hope.
