I joined the SYNERGY 1/2 field this past sunday in hopes to put in a good effort for the team. Since motivation is a little lower than what it was 2 months ago, I was flip flopping between what category to race. I chose the 1/2 race and SYNERGY fielded Timmer, Stick, Adam, Jake and myself.
Anodyne is closing in 10 minutes. What I can remember is that I was in a 5-6 man chase echelon (with Grandstay), since we all let a group of 4? get out about a minute ahead. Stick, myself and Adam mixed in with Mean Dawg, Ian and others to try and bring it back. I couldnt always hold the pace and would drop back for a breather.
Lap 3 is where things heated up and more chasing ensued. Gaps formed and closed. I bumped the rear Der of Micah and broke some spokes. A quick wheel replacement and some nifty drafting, i was back on.
I couldnt do much the last lap.
Here is Timmer in perfect control, while Dan Swanson is wildly out of wack.
