The Green Acres cross race was put on by the Synergy Now Bikes team this past sunday. I went over early to basically walk with a backpack and spot on-course trouble. This is my first year with this team and wanted to volunteer some time before that start of my race at 2pm. So, i took some pics and yelled at racers.
A great course with a natural killer run-up, 2 sets of normal cross barriers and a grueling uphill climb each lap. Some of the bigger guns werent at this race so the field seemed a bit smaller. I started near the back and joked with lesser knowns.
Again, I dont have the ability to hammer fast right away and keep it. So, my strategy is to do whatever I can and maybe not get lapped by the leaders. I did what I could but I managed to get lapped by Dewey and Jesse. A long and soft course made for some power sucking laps. I finished 21st.

Its too bad that a 2 party country has suppressed such good minds. Republicans fear this guy running as a Libertarian.
